Blown, Assembled and Cast: A Celebration of Contemporary Glass
Jepson Center, Telfair Museums, Savannah, Georgia, 2012
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the United States Studio Glass Movement, I curated the first exhibition on the subject of contemporary glass at Telfair Museums. The exhibition explored a variety of techniques used in the creation of studio glass—blown, cast, and assembled—through the work of noteworthy nationally and internationally recognized artists, including Rick Beck, Jose Chardiet, Stephen Dee Edwards, Sydney Hutter, Jon Kuhn, David Levi, Charles Miner, Mark J. Sudduth and Bertil Vallien. A publication accompanied this exhibition. Photo credit: David J. Kaminsky
